Fellow in Medical Oncology (Singapore)


He has completed Fellowship training in Medical Oncology, National Cancer Centre, Singapore  2005 – 2006. He attended a post graduation course in Palliative Medicine, Singapore Medical Association . He is trained in Oncology Pharmacy as well.

Dr. Zafor Masud is a founder member of Shanti Oncology and Palliative Care Unit. He is the prime in Bangladesh to setup Ambulatory Treatment Unit for cancer patients in early 2006. He has established group practice with multi disciplinary approach for cancer treatment under one roof.

Dr. Zafor is working as Associate Professor & Head of Oncology at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital, Dhaka. He is a coordinator and Honorary Medical Consultant of ASIC Palliative Care Unit , Dhaka, which is the only PCU for childhood cancer patients in Bangladesh, funded by UICC and local community. .He is also working as a Medical Oncologist & Head of Medical Division at Ashic Oncology & Palliative Care Centre.
